Finmatchly (“Finmatchly,” “we,” “us”) operates finmatchly.com (the “Site”), a financial-product comparison and information service. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information for visitors in the United States. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We aim to collect as little as possible. In practice that falls into three buckets:

• Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you contact us, we receive your name, email, and whatever you put in your message. We don't ask for financial account details, and you should never send them.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we log standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps — through analytics tools, to understand how the Site is used and keep it running.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and track referrals to our partners (see below). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content.
• To send our newsletter and rate alerts if you've subscribed, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
• To respond to your questions, feedback, and corrections.
• To measure the performance of our content and our affiliate referrals.
• To detect, prevent, and address security issues, fraud, or abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

Affiliate links and tracking

Finmatchly earns commissions when you visit certain partners through our links — see our Advertiser Disclosure for the details. When you click one of these links, the partner (or an affiliate network acting for them) may set cookies or receive information indicating you came from Finmatchly, so the referral can be credited. Once you leave our Site, the partner's own privacy policy governs the information they collect. We don't control and aren't responsible for the practices of third-party sites.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

• Service providers — vendors who help us run the Site (hosting, analytics, email delivery), bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Affiliate networks — to attribute referrals as described above.
• Legal reasons — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Finmatchly or others.
• Business transfers — if Finmatchly is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

Your choices and rights

• Email. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link; use it to stop marketing emails at any time.
• Cookies. Adjust or block cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work as well without them.
• Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by law.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
